* Those undergoing complete medical checkups or stomach examinations at other contracted or ordinary medical care institutions are not eligible. |
Content of the examination |
Primary examination (first examination during the fiscal year)
Choose X-ray (using barium) or endoscopy (gastric camera).
Secondary examinations (second and subsequent examinations during the fiscal year)
Endoscopy and other reexaminations (secondary examinations) for those for whom any abnormalities were discovered in the primary examination. |

Costs |
Examinee copayment for primary examination: 2,000 yen/person
The Health Insurance Society will pay all costs of secondary examinations. |
| Examination period |
April 2023 - March 2024 (Eligible persons should make appointments themselves after receiving appointment slips/questionnaires.)
Be sure to bring ① your health insurance card and ② the appointment ticket/medical questionnaire with you to the examining medical care institution.
Failure to bring these may result in ineligibility for the examination or an additional cost paid at the medical care institution. |
