The user in question covered by personal data held by the Society clinic has the right to demand the disclosure, correction, partial deletion, cessation of use, or removal of, or addition to such data.
However, the personal data held by the Society clinic is intended for examination and treatment purposes. The retention periods are specified by medical and other laws governing examination and treatment records (medical records), X-ray images, and other materials. For these reasons, in principle, it may not be partially deleted or removed based on requests from users.
Depending on the details, the Society clinic may be unable to grant requests to correct or add to personal data held by the clinic.
A request to cease use of personal data held by the Society clinic may result in inability to claim medical care costs. This would be disadvantageous to the user, since the medical care received would be regarded as treatment not covered by health insurance. In certain cases, it may render it impossible to provide medical care at all.
The Society clinic has established the following rules concerning requests for the disclosure, correction, cessation of use, etc. of personal data held by the Society clinic. (No fees apply for such requests.) |
