Applying for colorectal cancer screening by mail (Insured persons)
Since December 2, 2024, health insurance eligibility is verified using one of the following:
- ①Health insurance card
- ②Eligibility Verification Certificate
- ③Eligibility information screen on Mynaportal
- ④Myna health insurance card and Notice of Eligibility Information
- ⑤Online verification of eligibility using the Individual Number Card (only at facilities that have adopted the relevant system)
Eligible persons
Insured persons aged 35 and older who have undergone or plan to undergo health examinations at ordinary medical care institutions

Those who plan to undergo or have already undergone the health examinations under ① - ③ below are not eligible.
In addition, those who have not undergone a colorectal cancer screening (fecal occult blood test) are not eligible for switching.

②Health examinations at other medical care institutions

How to apply
Insured persons who wish to get colorectal cancer screening by mail should apply to their employers’ persons in charge by the end of July.

Notice of results
The contracted examining institution will mail examination results to the insured person’s home address.
Post-examination management
Those whose primary screening results are positive (+) may choose to receive a referral to a specialist at a contracted medical care institution (for examinations covered by health insurance).
