Family health examination at the examination center on the second floor of Kenpokaikan (dependents)

Since December 2, 2024, health insurance eligibility is verified using one of the following:

  • ①Health insurance card
  • ②Eligibility Verification Certificate
  • ③Eligibility information screen on Mynaportal
  • ④Myna health insurance card and Notice of Eligibility Information
  • ⑤Online verification of eligibility using the Individual Number Card (only at facilities that have adopted the relevant system)

Family health examination at the examination center on the second floor of Kenpokaikan (3-1-2 Nihonbashi Kayabacho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) * Available by appointment only

Eligible persons

Dependents aged 18 and older
However, since family health examinations (specific health checkups) may be undergone only once each fiscal year (April 1–March 31), those who already have undergone a family health examination through the Health Insurance Society’s health management activities, complete medical checkup, or specific health guidance are ineligible.

Examination period

May through March of the following year
See the health examination schedule. Examinations are provided on separate dates for male and female examinees.
Health examination reception hours: 9:20–11:45 am (mornings only)
Cashier reception hours on the fifth floor: 9:20–11:40 am

  • * For those aged 40 and older, the examination items of a specific health checkup are also included.

Examination costs

2,000 yen: Pay at the reception counter of the Health Management Department on the fifth floor of Kenpokaikan on the day of the examination.

  • * Reexaminations, detailed examinations, and follow-up examinations are provided free of charge (However, reexaminations, detailed examinations, and similar examinations for hearing, vision, funduscopy, and colorectal cancer screening are treated as insured medical consultations and treatment.)
