When placing an order for eyeglasses or contact lenses to correct conditions such as lazy eye in children

The Health Insurance Society will reimburse you when you place
an order for eyeglasses or contact lenses as a corrective for
lazy eye or squint or postoperative conditions of congenital
cataracts surgery in children less than nine years old. Benefits
also cover the replacement of eyeglasses or contact lenses once
each year for children under 5 years old or once every two years
for children aged between 5 and 8.
The Health Insurance Society reimburses 70% or 80% of the cost of ordering
or purchasing the eyeglasses or contact lenses (up to a maximum amount
of which you will be notified.
